Episode 29: The HSP guide to the holiday season – part 2: how things have changed for us as HSPs
Description
Welcome to the High Sensory People Podcast with Jane Elizabeth Aston and Elisha May!
We are High Sensory People, which means that like 20-30% of the world’s population, we were born with the genetic trait now referred to as High Sensory Intelligence®. The scientific name of the trait is Sensory Processing Sensitivity (SPS) but it’s commonly known right now as being highly sensitive. We are passionate about raising awareness about the HSP trait and reframing it from being highly sensitive to High Sensory.
We are ending Season 1 of this Podcast with a three-part guide to the holiday season. In part 1 last week we talked about ‘Christmas past’ - Christmas and NY before we knew about the HSP trait. This week we chat about how things have changed for us and the changes we have instigated over Christmas and New Year, since knowing about the HSP trait and what we need to do to look after ourselves appropriately. We hope sharing our experiences will help you navigate your holiday season this year!
The HIGH SENSORY TRIBE online community is now open – although we’re taking a bit of a break over the holidays and wil be back in action in the New Year. But if you want to come in and orient yourself the do – it's free for the first month, and then just £10 (about $12) a month – click here. We would love to see you there!
If you want to find out more about High Sensory Intelligence®, You can do the Inluminance test devised by Willow McIntosh here
