Episode 293: Where is Brandon Swanson? Part 1
Update: 2022-01-2338
Description
Brandon Swanson was 19 years old when he went missing in the state of Minnesota. He had been out earlier that night and gone to a couple of parties before making his way home to Marshall, Minnesota. Unfortunately, on the way home, he ran into a bit of car trouble when his car veered a bit off the side of a gravel road and got stuck in a ditch. He called his parents for help and explained exactly where he was but when they got there Brandon was nowhere to be seen and neither was his car. This case is truly one of the most bizarre we’ve covered to date and sadly, there is a lack of any closure involved.

He said 'oh shit' when the alien ship decloaked and then he got beamed up.
Omg the exact same thing happened to me when I ran out of gas on I-495. I'd been driving that road since 1995 and I was convinced I was at a different location than I actually was... it was late at night and I was high. Brandon must have been high... it explains the confusion over the location and the long intervening stretch of time.
Hey Pals! You should look into The Missing 411 for an episode..this sounds like that.
My brother had schizophrenia before succumbing to suicide...anyways this seemed a lot like some of his behaviors while unmedicated. He took off badly needed glasses, and thought he was places that he actually wasnt, like his persona was completely different. I wonder if Brandon was having such an episode of undiagnosed mental illness?
So just a thought, knowing that he had a DUI and that he had drank that night, even if he wasn't super drunk, would he have maybe taken the back roads so that he wasn't on the main road and had less chance to run into highway patrol or whatever?
I just got off the phone with my best friend and her husband who live in Canby Minnesota. (I have also visited there a few times and have been to Marshall, Lindt, Minnieota, Ivanhoe.) They know of this case of course and according to them it's assumed he was a drug mule for this couple in Canby and apparently he did not give them the money or drugs and supposedly they killed him and cut him up and fed him to their pigs. Like, it's literally known that this couple did this apparently, but there is no body, no car, no evidence. Just passing on what I heard.
I'm from MN and I've never heard of this omg
