Shar Dubey and Mandy Ginsberg former CEOs of Match.com and legends in consumer technology, friends who have supported each other professionally and personally and now serve on some of the most interesting boards. Shar Dubey grew up in India, graduating at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, she was the only woman metallurgical engineer that year. She then came to the United States and graduated with an MS from Ohio State University and then moved to Dallas to work at Texas Instruments and later i2 technologies. Shar then joined Match Group where she served in multiple roles taking took the helm as CEO in 2020, succeeding her friend, Mandy Ginsberg. After stepping down a few years ago, Shar remains a director of Match Group and on the board of directors at Fortive, Naspers Ltd. Prosus Group and Operating Partner at Advent International. Mandy Ginsberg grew up in Dallas where she still lives with her family. After graduating from Berkley in California and subsequently obtaining an MBA from Wharton, Mandy returned to Dallas and joined Match Group serving in many capacities to become the CEO in 2017, stepping down in 2020 for personal reasons. Amongst her many accomplishments at Match, Mandy is known for promoting equal pay between men and women. She now has taken all that experience to serve on several diverse boards including Uber, thredUP, Flo Health Inc., Universal Music Group and as an operating partner at Advent International with her friend, Shar Dubey.
