Episode 37: "Murdered By Pirates is Good." - Captain Blood / The Pirates / The Princess Bride
Description
For March Madness, the Brendans team up with our crew at Cinapse to celebrate possibly our favorite sub-genre - the romantic swashbuckling adventure! Here we have a three-course feast of options, from 1935's Captain Blood, 2014's The Pirates, and - one of the best to ever do it - 1987's The Princess Bride. We also pay respects to departed actors Michelle Trachtenberg and Gene Hackman, ponder what's to become of Bond under Bezos's guiding hand, and the shocking "redesign" of Shrek and Donkey.
