Mark 3:14 - “And he created twelve that they might be with him...”
Discipleship is an intimate invitation to being with Jesus. The disciple learns from Jesus through spending time with and following the master. However, the master also invites us into friendship with Him. In this episode we discuss the Old Testament background to discipleship as well as discipleship from various New Testament passages. It is only in contemplation on the fullness of the Gospel, however, that we see discipleship in its totality. We also answer a Newman Student question on our relationship with God before becoming priests.
