On this 48th episode of Good Timin’, we discuss the Beach Boys’ 1980 release, Keepin’ the Summer Alive. As usual with our album discussion episodes, we first cover some of the general history behind the record and talk about how it came together, and then we discuss each individual track on the album one by one and share our own thoughts and opinions on them. Lastly to wrap up, we cover some of the outtakes and extra material that the band recorded around the time.
