For this episode, I spoke to Real Bride, Michaela O'Shaughnessy. Originally from Galway, Michaela is living with her husband Cathal in the Upper East Side of New York City. 

Michaela planned her stylish but relaxed Irish wedding in Cloughjordan House from New York. We chat about planning your wedding from abroad and about Michaela's country chic styling & how she created moodboards for her tablescapes and flowers. 

Michaela speaks about what she calls her dress "journey" - how she found the whole process of wedding dress shopping and how she wishes brides didn't put such pressure on themselves to be their best self for their day. We also chat about the range of emotions you can experience throughout the day - both good and bad.
