On this 51st episode of Good Timin’, we discuss Brian Wilson’s debut solo record, Brian Wilson (1988). As usual with our album discussion episodes, we first cover some of the history behind the record and talk about what was going on in Brian’s life around the time, and then we discuss each individual track on the album one by one and share our own thoughts and opinions on them. Lastly, we cover a few of the outtakes and B-sides that Brian recorded in the late 80s, including some of his collaborations with his 60s songwriting partner Gary Usher.
