In this week’s episode, you get to hear all of the mind numbing details about how I traveled alone from Arizona to Alabama to toe the start line of the Lake Martin 50 in Alexander City, Alabama. Copious amounts of coffee were consumed and I even barricaded myself into my hotel room because I was afraid of being alone in a strange place. Ultimately, I ended up running more miles than I ever have before and came away with memories that will last a lifetime. From “rolling hills” to 9,999,543 water crossings, to mucky mud and a possible electrolyte imbalance… this story has lots of the good stuff. Hope you enjoy!
