Description

Episode 6 is the last in a mini-series of 3 episodes on Thucydides’ History of the Peloponnesian War. The rise of the demagogue at Athens leads to the disastrous Sicilian Expedition and (spoiler alter) the end of the Athenian Empire. We see Alcibiades, in all of his glory and viciousness, sentenced to death and switching sides to work with Sparta. This episode has everything: battle scenes, betrayal, and even dolphin shaped weapons. What more could you ask for?
