Shanika met Christina when she was offering her services at femme X Columbia, which really inspired her to think outside of the box when looking for a place to teach private yoga and assisted stretching sessions. They start their conversation while Christina was roadtripping across the south and unfortunately they had to end the conversation due to spotty reception; but quickly picked up the following day and continued. In this episode, they discuss pivoting careers, thriving in chaos, keeping control, how women of color tend to be called “strong,” keeping their bodies in tune as they service others, and so much more.
