James Michels is a great guest to kick off the year. His experiences working in correctional facilities makes him qualified to discuss 1994's The Shawshank Redemption, directed by Frank Darabont. He is also an author, whose work can be found here, and his personal website can be found here. We discuss his new book, Life's Dark Corners which gives the reader five short, sharp jolts in a noir package. Heartily recommend it.
