Eric Murray Returns, Boosts Jaguars' Defense
Update: 2025-12-06
Description
The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to receive a significant boost in their defense for their crucial Week Fourteen game against the Indianapolis Colts. Safety Eric Murray, who has been out since Week Nine due to a neck injury, has been designated to return from injured reserve. Murrays return will see him start alongside Andrew Johnson, with Andrew Wingard out due to a concussion. Murrays presence is expected to strengthen the Jaguars defense, as he has recorded four quarterback pressures, thirty-four total tackles, one interception, and three pass breakups this season. To make room for Murray on the roster, the Jaguars released running back Cody Schrader, who had been a healthy scratch for every game this season.
