Thank you to Socially Distanced Strolling in Scotland. I have bipolar disorder and when I am very depressed or anxious, people constantly compare their experience of depression or sadness with mine, and tell me how to *get over it*, like I'm not trying hard enough. I try everything I can. I also take my lithium, and sometimes antidepressants and occasionally benzodiazepines. One thing does not substitute for the other.
