The negotiations on President Trump’s Gaza peace plan continue in Egypt with mounting optimism the war could be ended. U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are currently in Egypt hashing out the details that involve prisoner exchanges, Israeli troop withdrawal and the framework of international oversight of post-war Gaza. President Trump has also announced he could possibly be making a trip to the Middle East in the coming days.
