Examination in Chief - Behind Bars
Description
Across the country, LGBTQ+ people who are in prison receive unequal and unfair treatment. In OUTtv’s true crime documentaries Killer in the Village, The Cobra Killers and Surviving the Block, viewers are introduced to the perpetrators, but what happens once they’re sent to Jail? In episode four, Justice Harvey Brownstone conducts an Examination in Chief to find out more.
Justice Brownstone is joined by Education and Support Worker for the LGBTQ+ Community, Stacey Love-Jolicour, PASAN Communications and Resource Development Coordinator, Sena Hussain, and Surviving the Block director, Rebecca Snow.
*Editor’s Note: The podcast mentions the documentary “Cobra Killer,” however the correct name of the film is The Cobra Killers.
