In This Week in Pop-Culture we’re breaking down a story about a water park ride that turned down a young girl due to weight limitations and her father going to the media about it. We use the segment to discuss how we can use personal harms like this to advocate for larger systemic changes towards weight inclusion.
Our listener question this week is about sexual compatibility within a long-term partnership. We talk about how its unreasonable to expect yourself to have spontaneous desire before every sexual encounter and what you can do to make peace with responsive desire instead.
Then we have wins of the week! Hailey had a staff appreciation party and had a blast with a bunch of other adults throwing water balloons at each other.
