Nearly 15% of greenhouse gas emissions are caused by meat production. Many environmental advocacy groups are calling on people to lower or eliminate their meat consumption to tackle this. A counter-argument is that there may not be enough farmland on earth to sustain vegans. It sounds plausible. Large parts of the earth are simply not suitable for growing crops. So is veganism really the answer? Let's find out.
