Coco Gauff will face off against No. 10 Karolina Muchova for a spot in the womens final. With some major upsets in the competition, including last year's defending champion Iga Swiatek, No. 3 seed Jessica Pegula and No. 5 seed Ons Jabeur all getting knocked out of the competition before the Quarterfinals, all eyes are on the young American tennis star as she heads into her very first US Open Semifinals. 

Ben Shelton is now a US Open semifinalist — and a potential superstar. After beating fellow American and No. 10 seed Frances Tiafoe 6-2, 3-6, 7-6, 6-2 under the lights at Arthur Ashe Stadium, he will now face tennis’ ultimate test Friday against 23-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic.

Aryna Sabalenka will go into her U.S. Open semi-final with local favourite Madison Keys on Thursday hoping it will be a launch pad and not a familiar stumbling block as the Belarusian continues her quest for a second Grand Slam crown.
