Here is a sermon from Isaiah 58 in preparation for the PAOC District wide Fasting Prayer from Sep 22 to Sep 28.
According to Isaiah 58 our fasting must result in the following in order to be accepted by God.
1. Your own deliverance from bondage, burden, oppression and ungodly ties
2. Deliverance of others from bondage, burden, oppression and ungodly ties
3. Sharing your food, sharing your home, providing your clothing, helping your own flesh
Is our fasting resulting in the above? If not, God is not pleased with it.
