This week is International Compost Week, and composting is something that we can all do to make a difference.
A series of events and information highlighting the need and benefits of composting - Sunday 2nd May - Saturday 8th May 2021
- Over 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted each year.
- Wasted food amounts to over $1 trillion of loss and wastage annually.
- A total of 3.3 billion tons of CO2 is produced by food waste yearly.
So to talk to us further about food waste and composting, we were delighted to be joined by Hannah Churton. She is the founder of The Worm Monger, an educational platform dedicated to helping people better manage food waste in their own homes.
