Feeling introverted in motherhood, making new friends as a mum and the importance of a good GP
Description
In today's episode I chat about making new friends as a mum and how I did not expect to feel introverted in those early stages, being such an extrovert before. I had to 're-learn' how to socialise again with my babe in toe, and it's been a really interesting experience.
I give a few tips on how to navigate this if you are feeling a similair way and that when I moved to a new area recently, I used the app for mamas called PEANUT. It's like tinder for mums. I have made one great friend on it and I'm even playing netball again because of the friend I met through the app.
I then chat about how important a good GP is and about my recent experience finding a local GP where I live.
I also introduce the rad collection of resources I have curated for all the new mummas out there. It's extremely valuable and they helped me so much in my first year of becoming a mum. You can download it HERE for free! There is a bonus video edition (& audio only) where I explain why I recommended each resource. The PDF is also clickable and linked to the websites or books I recommend.
I hope you have a beautiful week and enjoy this episode.
