Description

On August 16th The Fergal D'Arcy Show took a trip down memory Slane.
TodayFM celebrated one of the world's greatest concert venues with live music from The Academic, Roisin O, Ruth-Anne and Irish Women In Harmony and True Tides covering some of the biggest artists to appear on the hallowed Slane stage.
We also spoke to Scott Gorham from Thin Lizzy about being the VERY first band to headline this amazing venue back on August 16, 1981.
And very special guests were Lord Henry Mountcharles and his son Alex, who conceived this revered rock n roll space and continue it's legacy to this very day.
Plus, LOADS of your own Slane memories.
So, join The Fergal Darcy Show and take a trip down memory Slane.
