Join us as we dissect each story within the first anthology of the "Tales from the Hood" series. Part one discusses the first story about police brutality and it's prevalence today. Later parts will be released in future episodes. Tales from the Hood (1995) plays a significant role in cinema history, highlighting the real-life struggles of the African-American community in everyday situations. The director, writers, and cast are predominately African-American and dived into a genre that still lacked African-American representation in the 90's.
