Two Calgary Flames prospects, Zayne Parekh and Cole Reschny, have been selected for Canadas preliminary roster for the World Junior Championship. Parekh, a defenseman, and Reschny, a forward, are set to represent their country in the tournament, which will take place in Minnesota from December 26th to January 5th. Parekh, a first-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, is known for his offensive skills and has already proven himself in the NHL. Reschny, a first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, is making a big impact in college hockey and will be playing as a first-line center for the tournament.
