✨ On Ole Miss hiring Pete Golding:

Let’s just say Paul… was surprised. And not in a “wrapped a new car for Christmas” kind of way.



✨ On Auburn’s new hire and rivalry week:

He liked what he heard from Coach Golesh, thought Auburn fought hard in the Iron Bowl.



✨ On Vanderbilt, Texas, and the CFP rankings:

Vandy fans, brace yourselves — Finebaum doesn’t see a playoff invite coming. Even the Pavia Mafia couldn’t sway the committee (though apparently they did get someone arrested).



✨ On the Heisman:

He says Pavia might get his vote… unless someone buys it first. (Kidding. Mostly.)



✨ On Alabama vs Georgia this weekend:

He’s rolling with the Tide. Again.

“Injuries will decide this one,” he said — but he just can’t pick against Bama in Atlanta.



And yes — Paul confirmed he’ll be sticking with the SEC Network and returning for another season of Football Fridays with us next year. 🙌
