Forgotten No More: A Search for the Philly Men Who Died in World War I
Description
It was 108 years ago this week when the United States declared war on Germany for what became World War I. Thousands of Philadelphians ultimately lost their lives. So for the last decade, researcher Chris Gibbons has worked to identify the dead in one hard-hit community – the alumni of storied Roman Catholic High School. Host Trenae Nuri talks with Gibbons about these young men who fought and died in a now largely forgotten war and why he’s so tenacious in pursuing this unique search.
