The San Francisco Forty-Niners, despite having a bye week, are set to climb the NFC playoff standings. They currently hold the number seven seed and could potentially reach as high as the number two spot. Their rise depends on the outcome of the Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers game and potentially the Seattle Seahawks vs. Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals games. A tie in the Bears-Packers game would also benefit the Forty-Niners.
