In the heart of an untouched forest, an ancient oak tree stands as a silent witness to the changing seasons. As autumn approaches, the trees roots weave through the earth, while its branches hold onto the last of the green leaves. A young fox, unaware of the dangers lurking above, plays near the tree and is suddenly attacked by an owl. The fox manages to escape but is left wounded and shivering under the trees roots, where it eventually succumbs to the cold.
