Spokane musicians Brett Hite and Caroline Schibel, formerly of FRENSHIP and Mon Chéri, have formed a new folk-pop duo, Frances Browne. Their collaboration began unexpectedly through a cover band, leading to the creation of characters Indiana Anna and Muscle Car Mike. They quickly wrote four songs, finding the process easy and enjoyable. Their debut album, untitled, was recorded in Spokane and Los Angeles, featuring guest musicians. Performing weekly at Zola in Spokane, theyve found immense joy in this new venture, guided by the question, Are we having a blast?
