Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, California Golden Bears freshman quarterback, has been named the Davey OBrien National Quarterback of the Week for the second time in three weeks. He led the team to a thrilling victory against the twenty-first-ranked SMU Mustangs, completing 31 of 40 passes for a career-high 330 yards and four touchdowns. Sagapolutele also earned ACC Rookie and Quarterback of the Week, as well as Manning Award Star of the Week, making him the first freshman to win the Davey OBrien award twice and the only Power Four player to start with twelve consecutive games of 200+ passing yards.
