Description

It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month and as a domestic violence survivor I felt it would be appropriate to share some insight from my perspective.

Before meeting my late boyfriend, I was in two abusive relationship for five years each. After ending the relationships and becoming knowledgeable about some of the warning sign and patterns, my experiences seemed almost textbook! Physical, Verbal, or Emotional abuse are dangerous situations. Some victims of abuse fear the abuser will hurt them or maybe even kill them. Some victims of abuse hurt or even kill themselves. Seek help for yourself or someone else if the need exists. I’ve listed the link and phone number for the National Domestic Violence Hotline for anyone that may be in need. God Bless.
