Scott Saunders returns to give flowers to Casemiro - a hugely criticised and at one point "finished" expensive flop to go down with the rest of Manchester United's recent transfer market mistakes. The Brazilian - after being told by Jamie Carragher to "leave the football before the football leaves you" has now thrust his way back into the United team and is becoming undroppable.
Scott discusses why Casemiro is having perhaps one last hurrah, what he's done to win his place back and why the midfield works with him in it. Also discussed is the upcoming end of his contract in 2026 - and whether he leaves as expected or if there's a way to extend the deal into next season...and what would need to be the conditions for that to happen.
