Description

Being an immigrant in an American prison can pose unique challenges, like deciding which racial group you’ll identify with. But sometimes the biggest hurdles don’t become apparent until the day you are released.

I think they should have addressed that Jossys situation in Sweden would probably have been a lot better than in the US. A) his sentence would have been shorter B) prison conditions are much better C) the system would have supported him in reintegrating in society in a different way. Now it seems like it's a bad thing that he has to go back to Sweden and I feel it's strange to put that country on the same line as Cambodia and Mexico, when it comes to the dramatic deportations these guys are facing.

my wish is that ALL illegals can go back to our countries and the privileged American citizens can really see what their "land of the free" would look like, I wonder how Free it would be then.

this was a very interesting episode. i learned something new. as always.. so their detained..the detainee is taken care of as he serves his time.. with U.S dollars..they work at the prison..the system makes money from the inmates manual labor and then their deported?? im confused?? 😣 😕 who's paying for the ICE detention center??
