GPE: Flipped Classroom (Price & Neale) — case study
Update: 2016-08-05
Description
In this Good Practice Exchange (GPE), Dr Trevor Price and Jacqui Neale demonstrate how a fresh approach to teaching enhanced the learning experience for Price’s students over the period 2008–13. It was based on a ‘learning activity design’ approach, together with the application of technology. As the teaching practice evolved, they used technology and the activity-based design to encourage students’ lifelong learning skills. Price and Neale also presented this case study at the EDULEARN 2013 International Conference in Barcelona. You will find a link to the conference website in the accompanying PDF. Trevor Price is a senior lecturer specialising in environmental management and Jacqui Neale is a senior learning technology adviser at the University of South Wales.
