About Pamela

Pamela graduated from Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois, Chicago (1982) with an MSW. Pamela began as a social worker in a hospital; advanced to clinical specialty areas where she also taught populations from volunteers to pastoral care interns and internal medicine residents; advanced to supervisor of clinical social workers and volunteered at hospice and the American Cancer Society, rising to leadership positions. After developing the hospital case management department, in 1995 she opened her private practice to include consulting and teaching and quickly developed and grew a group practice of clinicians with insurance contracts and employee assistance program (EAP) companies. Administrative duties took her too far away from direct clinical work; returned to her private practice and advanced Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training to include specialty areas of aviation and banking industries. Pamela is frequently requested speaker at conferences and workshops, and have conducted basic and advanced training on a number of clinical issues and topics.
