Following up from where they left off 5 years ago (no really, 5 years), the titular Ghostbusters are down and out, making appearances at children's parties where they're upstaged by a clown. When a mysterious slime is found under the city, the Ghostbusters spring back into action to find out what's at the bottom of all that's going down and how it fits in with a baby and a painting of some old turd. IMDB.com describes Ghostbusters II as: "The discovery of a massive river of ectoplasm and a resurgence of spectral activity allows the staff of Ghostbusters to revive the business."
