Every year, wildfires cause $130 Billion in economic damages and release greenhouse gasses equivalent to 65% of California's transport industry. That is when we are fortunate enough that no lives are lost. A significant portion of the annual burn area is the result of just a few fires attributed to the electric grid.
Delphire was created to provide early detection of these grid-related fires. Our system can detect these wildfires in seconds using a state-of-the-art CV and AI pairing while gathering data from before the fire started. Once we learn more about the conditions that lead to ignition, we expect our system to prevent fires.
