In today’s episode we will be looking at the role of new psychoactive substances and other dangerous opioids, such as fentanyls, in the global drug problem. 

Matt Nice who currently manages the International Narcotics Control Board’s (INCB) global OPIOIDS Project, which is an international operational initiative to counter the trafficking of synthetic opioids and dangerous fentanyls, will be sharing his insight and experience in what makes these drugs so dangerous and what his team at INCB is doing to address this rising problem. 

This episode is intended to provide some useful background information as well as a resource for further collaboration and partnerships for actors working towards countering the trafficking of drugs and others who may just be interested in learning about synthetic opioids and new psychoactive substances.
