• In the UK, Global has acquired The Fellas Studios, a creator network that includes the Edison top 10 UK show Saving Grace. No terms were given: the new brand “Global Studios” will be the home to Global’s expanded podcast slate. (The Fellas Studios had been with Acast).


• In Kyiv, Ukraine, the winners of Ukraine’s podcast prize ceremony, the fifth Slushno Awards, were announced. The Grand Prix prize went to Теракт біля Палацу спорту (“The Terrorist Attack Near the Sports Palace”), a true crime podcast from Suspilne Kharkiv about the 2015 Kharkiv bombing, when Russian terrorists killed four Ukranians.
