On Sunday from 12-5 p.m., no cars are allowed on a mile-long stretch of Latah. That’s because the Boise Bicycle Project is holding a new event called Open Streets Boise — replacing Goathead Fest that’s long been held downtown. But will this festival be as popular among cyclists? We’re chatting with BBP’s Nina Pienaar to learn more about the lofty transit goals behind this new version of the event.
