Working Group MASTICATE is pulled back in by assistant U.S. attorney Antonia Pitzerelli to pursue Kerry Houghton's killers; Elle Gable has reappeared. Cortez, Drummond, McCarter, and Monroe are tasked with finding her and cleaning up the loose ends remaining from the deaths of Kerry Houghton and Crystal Killian. Gable's surfacing feels like a trap, but despite their caution, the agents cannot be prepared for what she has in store for them.
