Many Catholics know the name St. Louis de Montfort because of his devotion to Marian spirituality, particularly his book encouraging consecration to Jesus through Mary. Yet, few have heard of another book, equally compelling, called The Love of Eternal Wisdom. Written in the early 1700s, de Montfort’s style is difficult for the average lay person to absorb. Like many others, Rosary Army founder Greg Willits credits de Montfort with his own deep devotion to Mary and found yet another nugget hidden in this lesser-known treasure.

Greg’s book, God Doesn’t Hate Me After All: Discovering Louis de Montfort’s Love of Eternal Wisdom, makes de Montfort understandable. Uniting both de Montfort’s book and his own deeply personal experiences, Greg was able to take his life story and weave it together in light of de Montfort’s Love of Eternal Wisdom. He applies his own life, chapter-by-chapter, to de Montfort’s explanation of the exquisite love Jesus has for every one of us.
