Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke says the government is working on the possibility of an offshore recognition of skills. He says this will help save time and money for skilled migrants looking to move to Australia. In his address the Press Club in Canberra Mr Burke also flagged changes to inactive bank accounts to combat money laundering. - হোম অ্যাফেয়ার্স মিনিস্টার টনি বার্ক বলেছেন, বিদেশে অভিবাসীদের দক্ষতা যাচাইয়ের সম্ভাবনা নিয়ে কাজ করছে সরকার। তিনি বলেন, এতে অস্ট্রেলিয়ায় আসতে ইচ্ছুক দক্ষ অভিবাসীদের সময় এবং অর্থ, দু’টিরই সাশ্রয় হবে। ক্যানবেরায় প্রেস ক্লাবে তার বক্তৃতায় মিস্টার বার্ক অর্থ পাচার রোধে নিষ্ক্রিয় ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্টের নিয়মেও পরিবর্তনের ইঙ্গিত দিয়েছেন।
