Governor Bob Ferguson proposes $244M investment to tackle housing crisis, with $225M for Housing Trust Fund to build/preserve over 4,000 units. He supports Senator Emily Alvarados proposal to allow residential/mixed-use developments in commercial zones. Ferguson also signs executive order to establish a new Department of Housing, and modifies budget to include $55M for flood rehabilitation and housing preservation.
