Next to the Feather River in Gridley, the poison spraying goes on every season! The truly sad thing is, most of the fruit grown is ruined anyway, since it is picked way too green, it never ripens properly and then just rots after you pay a lot of money for it. This racket is all about the "bottom line" as usual in this money grubbing culture we live in. Farmers used to have pride in their products, that Pride has gone straight to hell since I was a kid. Now all that matters is their gawd Mammon!

When I was kid you could actually buy fruit in most stores that would be very close to ripe and would actually get sweet and juicy in a day or two, if it was not 100% ripe when you bought it.

The entire Fruit Orchard Racket has now become essentially worthless and on top of that the environment must be poisoned so you can buy shitty low grade fruit that tastes like hell and never gets ripe. Even many of the farm stands and Farmer's Market fruits are of the same deplorable low quality as the store bough garbage.

It is next to impossible to find high quality fruit anymore, even most of the organic crap you buy is green as well and will never get ripe, so you are just throwing away 2-3 times more money than the commercial garbage to get something that is inedible. You would be better off buying colorful Plastic Fruit and putting it in a bowl on your table to look at and to pretend that you have some actual fruit in the house!

This is the reason I planted 65 fruit trees on my land. I was and still am planning on producing the best quality Ripe and exotic fruit that Money can buy. I will of course be charging what it is worth and that will be a lot more than the crap you buy in a store which is 100% worthless these days.
