Although they've never met, Azrael appears to know a lot about Nomad and his family. How his mother seems to be lost in another world. Nomad knows something isn't right, but when it comes time for Nomad to face the truth, only Azrael can help. This is a short story told at its natural length that you might find yourself listening to twice.

Heartfelt story that was a pleasure to read.
I really enjoyed this story from start to finish. I could identify with many aspects of the story from my own personal life. I'm sure most people have people or places that provide comfort when everything in our little world is wrong. Sometimes however, there isn't an answer to "make it all better." I sensed the yearning of the main character to find resolve in the events that were transpiring. The desire to have everything be ok.
I found the story to be beautifully written. I believe most readers of any age can paint a vivid mindscape of the journey this story takes you. I found myself immersed in the environment and time period. The details given as the story unfolds seems seamless. Definitely a great read for the young and old.
If you enjoy a story with great dialogue and a rainbow at the end; give this story a try. You won't regret it!
I think it could have been a little more fleshed out but I enjoyed it and I look forward to more from Stevens
I'm not sure what I expected this to be (I admit I didn't read any sort of description), but I don't think this was it. Although I usually don't really care for short stories, this one hit me. I think it could have been a little more fleshed out but I enjoyed it and I look forward to more from Stevens.
I think the time of the story could've been made a little clearer in the beginning. Initially, I thought Nomad was older and I wasn't sure of the time period for a few pages so the first bit of dialogue threw me off. But once I realized, it made more sense and I understood it a little better.
I think ultimately I'd give it four stars but it's getting five for all the feels.
Beautiful story.
Short story, but uplifiting and has heart. I do not wish to write more details in fear I will spoil the reading. But I do recommen this book. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
You've gotta read it!
What a great short story with a huge twist! I absolutely loved it.
It gave me goose bumps
This was an amazing rendition of crossing over, I think everyone would enjoy this story. I'm looking forward to more books by Eric.
