God grew Abraham in faith, in trusting God, in obedience and in understanding God’s nature and character. As we apply the pursuit of God in the book of Genesis 17 to our very own lives, we know that our pursuit is to be more and more like Jesus so that we grow deeper in relationship with Him. What has God promised us? Many things! He has promised us His presence, His love for us, His provision, all of it to His glory. Let's be well aware that our names are already written in the book of heaven and that we are called to a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus!
