We speak to Dr. Rebecca English, a researcher and teacher at Queensland University of Technology in Australia. She specialises in parenting and education, especially alternative education methods. Having spent several years teaching children, she has used this experience to explore how parenting practices influence the decisions they make for their children.
Together, we discuss homeschooling and alternative education paths, how mainstream education can meet the needs of all children, and ways that parents can teach their children to grow into healthy and happy adults.
