Honduras presidential election is neck-and-neck, with Nasry Asfura and Salvador Nasralla nearly tied. The official results website is experiencing issues, making it hard to determine the exact count. Asfura initially led by just five hundred and fifteen votes, but Nasrallas internal projections put him ahead with forty-four point six percent. The National Party criticized Nasralla for not waiting for official results, while Nasralla clarified he wasnt declaring victory. The winner will serve from 2026 to 2030.
